Resume Selection and Referral - Assists employers in their hiring efforts by providing staff-assisted resume selection and pre-screening interviews of job candidates for job openings. Various databases of qualified job candidates are matched to employers' job descriptions. Candidates whose résumés represent the work experience and education an employer is looking for will be pre-screened by a Business Employer Services Team member. After a successful pre-screening interview the résumé will be forwarded to the employer. It is up to the employer to meet with the job candidate. The measure of our success is a successful hire.

Computer Training - Classes are available and can be tailored to a company's particular needs and conducted on-site.

Labor Market Information - The Business Employer Services Team is a reliable source for current Labor Market Information.

Job Fairs - An excellent venue for employers to meet large groups of qualified job candidates at an event attracting a diverse group of employers and job seekers.

On-Site Recruiting - Employers are invited to utilize the Evanston WorkNet Center or Center for Professional Development in Westfield Old Orchard as a venue for job seeker recruitment. Employers can spend a few hours or an entire week interviewing interested job candidates for their job openings.

Rapid Response - Job transition assistance for employees affected by mass layoffs and company closings. The Rapid Response Team is adept at presenting Career Management Workshops to employees facing layoff. The workshops can include résumé writing, job search skills, networking and interviewing techniques.
